Construction begins on Roselands Mall redevelopment
ADCO has commenced construction on Roselands Shopping Centre, Sydney.
The $70 million project will see the transformation of the longstanding shopping precinct into a bustling town centre.
Roselands is owned by Vicinity, which focusses on investing in the repurposing of local shopping centres to become mixed-use spaces. The future of the shopping centre will see food and leisure brought to life and showcased.
Roselands opened in 1965, making it the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere at the time.
ADCO is currently working on Stage 1 of the project – the redevelopment of the Level 1 food court.
Neil Harding, CEO, was thrilled about the project’s commencement.
“ADCO has decades of experience in shopping centre and town centre construction. We are honoured to have been named Builder of Choice for the Roselands project, which has been a centre of the community for over 50 years.”
