Robina Town Centre Market Hall Stage 2A

ADCO's Gold Coast team has completed the Stage 2A “Market Hall” at the Robina Shopping Centre.  The delivery of the latest stage of the centre’s redevelopment continues our long history of involvement at Robina for QIC that has seen us complete 8 major projects at the shopping precinct over the last decade.  The design and construction of stage 2A involved major renovations and extensions including; the demolition of an existing on-grade external carpark, construction of a new Coles supermarket, construction of additional new car parking structure to the south of the new retail expansion, new roof slab designed for future car park use, construction of new mall adjacent to the new Coles supermarket to connect to the future Stage 2B works, new travelators, installation of shade sail structures to the existing Stage 1 Car Park and alteration and expansion of the existing in ground and building infrastructure to accommodate the new development, including new chiller plant within the centre’s central plant room.  The $50 million project was delivered whilst maintaining the operational capacity of the existing centre.

ADCO’s success on the project has seen us appointed to deliver the next stage of the redevelopment – Stage 2B. This $55 million project will tie into Stage 2A and complete the Market Hall section of the centre.  In total Stage 2A and 2 B will add approximately 14,000 sqm of additional floor area, increasing Robina’s retail capacity by almost 10% and will provide a significant new identity to the southern approach to the centre.
