ADCO Announced as Building Partner for Homeless Youth House

ADCO is delighted to be the building partner for the next Property Industry Foundation (PIF) House in Sydney, which will give a safe and secure place to live for five homeless youth. ADCO and PIF will be building a 5-bedroom home in Dulwich Hill for Stepping Stone House. On average, each bedroom is occupied by three young people each year – some for one night and some for six months. Parmelia Hilton Perth Refurbishment Ready for Service

ADCO is delighted to have completed a $45 million refurbishment of the iconic Parmelia Hilton Perth for WA property group, Hawaiian. The completed hotel now features contemporary frontage to the Mill Street entrance, an eye-catching expansion of the lobby, the refurbishment and addition of guestrooms and bathrooms, a new executive lounge and a new glass bridge connection to the neighbouring Brookfield Place precinct, as well as direct access to St Georges Terrace. Guestroom renovation offers new bathrooms, air-conditioning, flooring, furniture, and improved in-room technology and security. Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre Wins Prestigious MBA Safety Award

Congratulations to our Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre team for winning the 2020 Master Builders Association of Victoria ‘Excellence in Health and Safety’ award today. ADCO to Build Sutherland Entertainment Centre

ADCO is excited to begin building the $34 million redevelopment of Sutherland Entertainment Centre in Sydney’s south! A major refurbishment of the existing building is underway, along with landscaping to the neighbouring Peace Park. Major works will include a refurbished main theatre with reconfigured seating for 700, improved wings, stage, back of house and a new staging system which will allow for major theatrical productions. Landmark Bowral & District Hospital Development Complete

ADCO is pleased to have completed construction of Bowral and District Hospital, in the NSW Southern Highlands. The $68.6 million, four-storey health facility provides medical, mental health, maternity, paediatric and perioperative care for the local and greater community. Osborne Park Hospital Stage 1 Reaches Handover

Take a look at the first completed stage of our Osborne Park Hospital Rehabilitation & Neonatal Nursery project in Perth! Late last year saw the handover of Osborne Park Hospital’s Maternity Assessment Unit. When the works are fully complete, the hospital, operated by North Metropolitan Health Service will offer improved and enhanced obstetric services to northern Perth mothers with low-to-moderate risk pregnancies, enabling them to give birth closer to where they live. ADCO Staff and Partners Construct Shelter for Wildlife

In November, ADCO staff in NSW stepped away from busy projects to focus on improving and restoring facilities at Mudgeroo Emu Farm and Animal Refuge. Located outside Nowra, Mudgeroo covers 28 hectares of native bushland and picturesque countryside, where the owners look after rescued animals such as kangaroos, wombats, birds, frogs and reptiles. Baby wildlife orphaned through road accidents, habitat loss, fires and floods are taken in, nurtured and rehabilitated. The site needed to accommodate more wildlife, primarily wombats. Women of ADCO Donate Hundreds of Toys to QCH

ADCO’s staff and trade partners in Queensland have gladly donated hundreds of toys to the Queensland Children’s Hospital Foundation for Christmas. Led by Women of ADCO, it was great timing to hand over the toys to the Foundation, with our handover of QCH's Level 12 taking place only last week. The Foundation does a fantastic job of being the ‘fun patrol’ around the wards, providing entertainment and support for the young patients and their families, with the goal of keeping spirits high while they undergo care and treatment.
