Diamond Creek, VIC Diamond Creek Stadium

The Diamond Creek Stadium project involved the design and construction of a multipurpose sports and community facility for Nillumbik Shire Council.  It was first of its size and type delivered in the outer north-eastern suburbs of Victoria. The stadium, now called Community Bank Stadium, provides facilities for a number of sports including; gymnastics, basketball & netball and is used by both the neighbouring primary schools and secondary colleges. The stadium is also the training facility of the Melbourne Vixens and holds gymnastics and Taekwondo tournaments.

The multi-purpose courts were fitted out as a theatre centre for performances including the Rock Eisteddfod and school speech nights with a seating capacity of 900 and a retractable seating system.

The project was completed on time and in line with the Shires expectations of opening the facility to cater for the new season of basketball and netball.
