ADCO worked with the consultant team through the Early Contractor Involvement phase to progress the project from early feasibility through to full development approval.

ADCO was then awarded the design and construct contract by Verde Property to deliver new office accommodation for the NSW Government’s Department of Planning, Industry & Environment as the anchor tenant.

The $60 million commercial development delivered 8,500 m² of NLA, accommodating up to 800 staff in a flexible working environment, along with a multi-storey car park providing 400 spaces, EV charging stations, and high-quality end-of-trip facilities.

The building was designed as a technology hub to support flexibility and communication across the department, regardless of physical location. It also functioned as an emergency operations centre and a secondary commercial asset to support business continuity across NSW.

ADCO’s design and delivery team facilitated the integrated fitout for DPIE, delivering a contemporary, technology-enabled flexible workplace.

At the forefront of sustainable design and construction, the project achieved a 5 Star Green Star rating Design & As Built (GBCA), 5.0 Star NABERS Energy (Base Build), 4.5 Star NABERS Water (Base Build), 2.5 Star NABERS Energy (Base Build), 6.0 Star NABERS Energy (Tenancy)
