Hedland Senior High School

ADCO delivered the new facilities at Hedland Senior High School in South Hedland, Western Australia, for the WA Government.

The eye-catching school features striking REDCOR steel façade panelling, which was rusted off-site prior to installation.

The build involved two separable portions, consisting of a new gymnasium and classroom building, and refurbishments to the STEM, IT and English areas. The gymnasium offers multipurpose, Helsinki 10/10 sprung sports flooring suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, and badminton.

The project was awarded Master Builder’s Best Education Building ($10-$20m) Excellence in Construction for the Kimberley & Pilbara region and also ‘Best Regional Project’ overall.
