The ADCO-built Darebin Multi-Sport Stadium, renamed Narrandjeri Stadium, offers the community in Melbourne’s inner north the highest quality in sporting facilities.

The $26 million facility is located at John Cain Memorial Park in Thornbury, offers three indoor multi-purpose courts to accommodate a range of sports such as netball, basketball, badminton and volleyball. The stadium provides 298 fixed seats and six universal-access spaces to indoor show courts.

Other features include separate player and umpire changerooms, administration, multi-purpose rooms and ancillary areas with a cafe, spectator facilities, a function room with an outdoor deck area, and a new carpark over at least 5000sqm to service the precinct.

External road works with VicRoads were also undertaken including road widening and installation of eight traffic lights at the four-way intersection and bus stop and bus lane.

The facility is on track to receive a 5-star Green Star certification.
