ADCO’s development for WA Country Health Service in the remote Pilbara region provided state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to Newman and surrounding areas.
The $60m facility includes 12 in-patient beds, six emergency department bays, two dental chairs and GP consultation spaces, and dedicated rooms for outpatient consultation, therapy, medical imaging and pathology.
The hospital offers the latest in country healthcare and telehealth, and services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and mental health.
The works were constructed whilst the existing Newman Hospital remained operational.
ADCO was pleased to work closely with local trades and was delighted to engage with the community to lead social initiatives in Newman.
