QPS Technical Facility, Brisbane

ADCO was engaged to deliver the design and construct contract for Queensland Police’s new Technical Facility in Brisbane.

The new Facility offers a purpose-built structure which provides a combination of training facilities, a warehouse and office accommodation. The development also features a purpose-built training facility external to the main building.

The former QPS Technical Services Unit building was not able to effectively support the critical business functions required by the Queensland Police Service. The new facility now provides appropriate accommodation to meet current and future critical needs, including the provision of effective operations to ensure best practice and the safety of the technical operatives of the unit.
