Ramsay Mental Health Observation Area

The Mental Health Observation Area at Joondalup Health Campus is a 2-storey redevelopment that integrates the existing emergency department with the hospital’s other major services. The 10-bed unit comprises a central raised ‘flight deck’ with patient treatment rooms, consultation and interview rooms, utility rooms, a meeting room, patient waiting areas, a lounge, a secure courtyard, a staff room, and an alfresco area.

ADCO completed this project within a live environment of the functional hospital, with all activities adjacent to the construction zone required to continue unimpeded. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
