Ramsay Mental Health Observation Area

The Mental Health Observation Area at Joondalup Health Campus is a two-storey redevelopment integrating the existing emergency department with the other major services of the hospital. The 10-bed unit comprises of a central raised ‘flight deck’ with patient treatment rooms, consultation and interview rooms, utility rooms, a meeting room, patient waiting areas, lounge and secure courtyard as well as a staff room and alfresco area.

ADCO completed this project within a live environment of the functional hospital with all activities adjacent to the construction zone required to continue unimpeded. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
