As part of The Frenchs Forest 2041 Place Strategy to creating a thriving town centre, the current Forest High School site will be redeveloped created the need to relocate the school to a newly acquired site at 187 Allambie Road, Allambie Heights.
The relocation provides School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) opportunity to create a state-of-the-art education facility that focuses on excellence, innovation, opportunity and success for all students.

The Forest High School will provide capacity for the 2036 projected enrolment demand of 1,847 students and will include modern flexible learning spaces; a new library, canteen and administration spaces; a multi-purpose sports and performance hall; new outdoor sports courts and landscaped recreation and outdoor learning spaces.

The project, spanning across two-stories, will be targeting 5 Star Green Star accreditation with plans for provision of solar panels, water tanks, use of sustainable materials and efficient fixtures and fittings. The design of the school has considered existing trees on site and aims to retain as many trees and bushland as possible while providing the needs of a modern high school.
