University of Western Australia (UWA) Reid Library Refurbishment

Perth, WA University of Western Australia (UWA) Reid Library Refurbishment

Located just 5 kilometers from Perth, Reid Library is one of the University’s busiest buildings, boasting a substantial collection of informal learning and research spaces. It is a hub frequented by students from various UWA disciplines, as well as the broader community.
ADCO has been selected as the Builder of Choice to carry out the refurbishment works on this iconic building. The goal is to maximise opportunities and enhance well-being, inclusivity, and community engagement.
The scope of work includes addressing significant existing deficiencies and the end-of-life status of the building’s service infrastructure. This involves improving sustainability and future-proofing these services and infrastructure for greater efficiency and reduced costs.
Importantly, ADCO aims to enhance the student experience by upgrading facilities and providing contemporary spaces. These improvements will, in turn, support UWA’s Master Plan, including the 2030 Vision, the 2025 Strategic Plan, and the Estate Strategy.
