14 Tonnes of Food Packed for Emergency Relief

Yesterday, ADCO went to Foodbank Australia to pack nearly 14 tonnes of food for Victorians in need of food relief. Foodbank is Victoria’s designated emergency food and water relief organisation under the State Emergency Relief and Recovery Plan.

Nine staff members from our Melbourne office prepared pallets of food to be sent out to people suffering from emergencies, particularly victims of the ongoing bushfire crisis

Among the 33 charities who will receive the food gifts are Warrnambool Foodshare, Dallas Neighbourhood House and Dandenong Ranges Emergency Relief Services.

In total, ADCO packed 13,980 kilograms of food, the equivalent of approximately 25,190 meals for people who are struggling to find their next meal!

Well done all!
