ADCO Awarded $63.5M Carss Park Pool Project in NSW
ADCO is proud to have been awarded the delivery of the new $63.5 million Carss Park Pool on behalf of the NSW Office of Sport, with Georges River Council as the future owner and operator.
The project represents a significant investment in community health, recreation and aquatic infrastructure for the Kogarah region, delivering a safe, fit for purpose swimming facility for the local community.
Funding for the project is provided by the NSW Government, Georges River Council and the Commonwealth Government.
Once complete, the new precinct will feature:
· An eight lane, 50m heated outdoor swimming pool with a swim wall
· An outdoor heated Learn to Swim pool with accessible entry
· Modern amenities, change facilities and kiosk
· Shaded spectator seating and pool lighting
Located within the much-loved Carss Bush Park , the project will restore a valued community asset and create more opportunities for people of all ages to learn to swim, stay active and connect through sport and recreation.
A great result for our NSW team, and we look forward to working alongside our project partners to bring this important facility to life.
