The centre features the Harris High Performance Centre, complete with:

  • Full aquatic facilities, including a magnesium pool and dry sauna
  • Equal amenities and locker rooms for both AFL and AFLW programs

Alongside the MCG-sized training oval is the dedicated AFLW Oval and Community Pavilion, boasting:

  • Full broadcast facilities

  • Purpose-built spaces for future AFLW matches and community use

At the official opening, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese summed up the achievement perfectly:

“We need to get them in charge of a few of our projects right around the country.”

This project is a true celebration of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in construction, creating spaces that inspire athletes and connect communities.

A huge thank you to the Hawthorn Hawks project team, our consultants, trade partners, and all our people who made this possible.
