ADCO Completes East Perth Common Ground Project, Delivering 112 Apartments to Support WA’s Homelessness Strategy
ADCO proudly announces the successful practical completion of the East Perth Common Ground project for the Western Australian Government.
This landmark development delivers 112 self-contained apartments, communal spaces, on-site support services, and commercial areas, providing safe, secure housing for Western Australians experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
Common Ground is a cornerstone of the State Government’s All Paths Lead to a Home: WA’s 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness (2020–2030), and we are honoured to play a role in creating meaningful change.
For ADCO, community has been at the heart of our story for over 50 years. Throughout this 22-month project, our team embraced initiatives that matter:
/ Blue scaffold mesh as part of our ‘Something Blue’ campaign with Beyond Blue, encouraging mental health awareness and conversations with colleagues.
/ Mates in Construction workshops to promote suicide prevention and awareness of mental health.
/ Christmas toy donations supporting families and kids that otherwise would not receive gifts on Christmas Day.
Delivering this complex project in the Perth CBD required commitment and collaboration and we are proud of what has been achieved.
This project will deliver outcomes for the community for years to come, and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits it provides.
