Building a Healthier Future: Dandenong Wellbeing Centre
Delivering the Dandenong Wellbeing Centre marks a significant step forward in enhancing health, wellbeing, and community connection across the City of Greater Dandenong.
As the largest project Council has undertaken to date, this upcoming state-of-the-art facility will include:
• Indoor swimming pools, including two warm water program pools
• A modern gym, dry program rooms, and allied health consulting suites
• Over 200 sqm of community health spaces and an integrated sports pavilion
• A café and inclusive community rooms designed to bring people together
A standout feature of the project is the use of large-span engineered timber beams across the main pool hall and foyer entry, combining architectural impact with sustainability.
Designed to support people of all ages, cultures, and abilities, the centre will provide inclusive access to fitness, rehabilitation, recreation, and social programs—enriching quality of life for residents across the region.
The project replaces the ageing Dandenong Oasis and is a once-in-a-generation investment by City of Greater Dandenong in the future of community health.
