Driving Innovation on Track: ADCO to Deliver $120M Rail Maintenance Facility at Ormeau

We are delighted to announce that ADCO has secured a $120 million contract to build a cutting-edge rail maintenance facility as part of the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) at Ormeau, on the Gold Coast.

This exciting project is a valuable addition to our growing rail sector, and we are proud to partner with DT Infrastructure.

The Ormeau rail facility will incorporate innovative construction techniques, including the use of pre-cast concrete elements, a new low-maintenance paint system for structural steel, and cutting-edge fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) to ensure long-term sustainability and safety.

This marks the next milestone in ADCO’s continued dedication to shaping the future of Queensland’s infrastructure.
