Griffith Base Hospital Reaches Major Milestone with Completion of State-of-the-Art Clinical Services Building
The Griffith Base Hospital Clinical Services Building has officially reached completion — a major milestone in the $250 million redevelopment and for regional healthcare infrastructure in New South Wales.
Delivered by Health Infrastructure within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD), this State Significant Development replaces outdated facilities with a modern, four-storey Clinical Services Building designed to support both clinical and non-clinical services. It enables the delivery of contemporary models of care tailored to the current and future needs of the MLHD community.
As a major regional project, the redevelopment presented unique logistical and operational requirements, from workforce coordination to supply chain management. Our team rose to the task with resilience, adaptability and a commitment to excellence throughout every phase of delivery.
The new facility integrates emergency, imaging, outpatient, perioperative, maternity, paediatric, rehabilitation, and inpatient services, along with pharmacy, pathology, administration and a welcoming main entry with a retail café, all under one roof to support integrated, patient-centred care.
Congratulations to our project team, Health Infrastructure, MLHD, Consultants and Trade Partners for successfully delivering this vital regional health facility.
The project continues, with construction of a new on-grade carpark and main entry, and is expected to be completed in 2026.
