ADCO to deliver WACA makeover


Bond University’s Institute of Health and Sport Taking Shape

The façade is looking great on the Bond University’s Institute of Health and Sport expansion project. Bond University’s 8th Chancellor, The Honourable Dr Annabelle Bennett and Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Tim Brailsford visited the project for a site tour with our Project Manager, Tom Warren. They both praised our team on the aesthetics of the building and collaborative partnership we have built with Bond University and the Architect, Kent Excell.

Topping out milestone acheived

Construction of the National Storage facility at Maidstone, located 8km northwest of Melbourne, has recently achieved a significant project milestone by topping out the concrete structure. To celebrate this milestone, the National Storage team hosted a BBQ as a token of appreciation for the hard work and commitment shown by ADCO and our trade partners. ADCO has a strong working relationship with National Storage and looks forward to delivering another successful project, with an estimated completion date in the second half of this year.

New multi-sport facility and home to South Sydney Rabbitohs

A world-class sporting facility that enables grassroots and elite sports to co-exist. That’s what the recently completed Heffron Centre for Randwick City Council delivers for the south-eastern suburbs of Sydney. In just 19 months the ADCO team has successfully delivered this world-class facility which is the new home to the South Sydney Rabbitohs Rugby League club including facilities to run their Souths Cares community program, a new indoor multi-sport centre, and a new dedicated gymnastics centre. ADCO donates gift hampers to new mums

When working within the construction industry we are presented with unique challenges that require innovative ideas and a collaborative approach. At the St George Hospital, we recently undertook priority works consisting of the Clinical Skills Centre demolition and fit to make way for the St George Hospital Stage 3 redevelopment. This was directly adjacent to a Special Care Nursery which is a 12-bed high dependency unit providing specialised care. ADCO completes construction of Hitachi’s Forrestdale facility

Following the success of ADCO delivering the Hitachi Stage 2 Remanufacturing Facility and based on the positive experience Hitachi had with our team, ADCO was awarded the design and construction of the Hitachi Mining Equipment Assembly Warehouse (Stage 3). The 13,000m2 build completes the development of Hitachi’s Forrestdale facility in WA with the 5,500m2 warehouse consisting of 750 tonnes of steel, 2 x 200 tonne and 4 x 30 tonne overhead gantry cranes and associated office spaces and facilities. Upgrade complete for Hedland Senior High School

ADCO is delighted to have completed new facilities at Hedland Senior High School in South Hedland, Western Australia, for the Western Australian Government, Department of Finance. The eye-catching, $13 million school upgrade features striking REDCOR steel façade paneling which was exposed to weather and rusted off-site prior to installation. Construction took place over two separable portions, and the finished result consists of a new gymnasium and classroom building, and refurbishments to the STEM, IT and English areas. What an exciting and rewarding project this has been! ADCO has just completed the brand-new Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct.
