Upgrade complete for Hedland Senior High School

ADCO is delighted to have completed new facilities at Hedland Senior High School in South Hedland, Western Australia, for the Western Australian Government, Department of Finance. The eye-catching, $13 million school upgrade features striking REDCOR steel façade paneling which was exposed to weather and rusted off-site prior to installation. Construction took place over two separable portions, and the finished result consists of a new gymnasium and classroom building, and refurbishments to the STEM, IT and English areas. What an exciting and rewarding project this has been! ADCO has just completed the brand-new Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct. Located 10km west of the Sydney CBD, the precinct is home to the brand-new Concord Oval Recreation Centre, multipurpose sports courts, venues for hire, a café, the Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence, the West Harbour Rugby high performance training facility, and more. ADCO Constructions is thrilled to welcome Matt Galton to our national operations, where he will today commence the role of General Manager - Defence and Special Projects. Matt has accepted this newly created role after departing the Department of Defence, where he has served for four years as Director General of Defence’s Capital Facilities and Infrastructure (CFI). In this role Matt had direct responsibility for the development and delivery of the estate and infrastructure major capital works program, a portfolio of around 180 projects with a value in excess of $30 billion. NSW teams spend a day helping the community

ADCO’s NSW staff stepped away from their jobs for a day to help the communities in which they live and work. Last Monday we held our NSW Community Day, where staff members and project partners gave a day of their time, expertise and resources to local organisations that needed a bit more support. Additionally, almost $200,000 worth of time, materials, plant and equipment was contributed by our people and our project partners on the day.
