Bray Park school project reaches completion
ADCO is pleased to have completed the Bray Park State High School Learning Centre project in Brisbane for Queensland Department of Education. The school’s new addition offers a two-storey general learning building, upgraded carpark and conversion of both dining room and existing kitchen in the Home Economics Block into senior industrial kitchens to suit Certificate 2 Hospitality students. The General Learning Centre consists of an East and West wing featuring a central collaboration space servicing both buildings, covered walkways and individual service yards to both. Work underway on $35m works depot for Moreton Bay Council
ADCO is delighted to be builder of choice for the new Moreton Bay Regional Council Works Depot in Narangba, Queensland. This $35 million project for Moreton Bay Regional Council includes a new office building, warehouse, stores building, wash bay, refuelling station, car and vehicle parking and all associated infrastructure. The project also includes rehabilitation of adjoining boundary Road, including a signalised intersection, and road widening and upgrade works. The site covers an area of 60,828m2 and GFA of 6,456m2. This project bolsters our venture into the transport infrastructure sector. Construction is about to commence, with a completion date forecast for early 2023.
ADCO building second METRONET job in WA
ADCO is excited to have been announced as builder of METRONET’s new Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC). The control centre will house the infrastructure and personnel required to manage the day-to-day operations of Perth's public transport network, which will expand by more than 72 kilometres in coming years as various METRONET projects become operational. The contract is worth about $50 million. Works commences on $18 million WA government offices
ADCO is pleased to be builder of choice for the $18 million Parliament Place Offices project, which will accommodate parliamentary offices for the WA Government once complete. Adjacent to WA’s Parliament House in the prominent West Perth location on Harvest Terrace, the project involves the construction of a four-storey office building with two basement levels. Designed by Bollig Design Group, the building will incorporate a concrete structure base build with precast panels, inclusive of toilets, lifts, 48 single secured basement car parking bays with electric car charging points and finished with decorative Donnybrook Stone cladding, curtain walling and associated landscaping. ADCO begins first rail sector project in Victoria
ADCO has been awarded the contract to build the new multi-level commuter car park at Belgrave Station, in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs. The project is being delivered by VicTrack as part of the Victorian Government’s Car Parks for Commuters program. This project will involve the design and construction of a new, multi-level car park offering 640 car spaces over four levels, built on the site of the current at-grade car park. ADCO begins work on $132 million State Basketball Centre
ADCO is delighted to begin building the $132 million State Basketball Centre for Development Victoria. ADCO will deliver 12 new indoor courts to add to the existing six courts, new gymnastics facilities, refurbished clubhouse, referees’ spaces and administration for Knox Basketball Incorporated, an extended sports administration hub providing a permanent home for Basketball Victoria, Basketball Australia and other tenants, facilities to support two tenant professional team, and a basketball centre of excellence, forming the central hub of a state-wide, high performance program. Ashmore TAFE’s Trades Training Centre delivered
In March 2021, ADCO completed the new, state-of-the-art Trades Training Centre for TAFE Queensland’s Ashmore campus, Brisbane. This project was part of the significant revitalisation of the Ashmore campus over 2019-21 valued at a total of $31 million designed to simulate the working environment for construction and plumbing trade apprentices in the Gold Coast region. Our project manager Justin Allen once trained in the old facilities and Sarah Bowdler, who is one of our first female apprentices, will now complete her studies and training inside the new facility and boost her job preparedness upon graduation. Sod turn ceremony kicks off construction at Rabbitohs’ Heffron Centre
The first sod at Heffron Centre has been turned, marking the beginning of construction on the landmark community project in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs! The new facility will house the South Sydney Rabbitohs players, training facilities, administration, Souths Cares as well as a dedicated community gymnastics centre and indoor sports centre. Smoking ceremony at Arklife Cordelia marks beginning of construction
ADCO and our Client Arklife participated in a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony at our ARKLIFE Cordelia built-to-rent project in South Brisbane.
