ADCO recently held its second Delivery Partners Forum at our recently refurbished head office in North Sydney, with approximately 80 sub-contractor partners in attendance. We currently hold these forums at a State level, nationally. An important element of these forums is hearing feedback, which allows us to improve. In response to recent feedback, we have partnered with our software developers and Estimate One to develop an online tendering portal that provides easily accessible tendering information. ADCO Claims Prestigious Award in Queensland

On Wednesday, ADCO took home a prestigious Queensland State MBA award for our project, Birtinya Shopping Centre, which claimed first place in the category ‘Commercial Buildings ($5-50 million)’. The $45m large retail build for Stockland is a key feature of the new $830 million Birtinya Town Centre masterplan development. The Centre offers a Coles, an Aldi, speciality tenancies and a food precinct. Construction also included loading docks, external services, on-grade car parking and landscaping. Congratulations to the QLD team for handing over a project that is still winning awards long after completion!

ADCO Selected for $13M Government Fitout in Fremantle

ADCO is pleased to be Builder of Choice for a central Fremantle project which will offer office accommodation across approximately 14,510sqm in the heart of Kings Square precinct. Located between Queen Street, Newman Court and William Street, the scope of works on the $13m win for includes a fitout of all tenant areas in the North campus with selected other works anticipated to the tenant lobbies on the ground level. ADCO proudly congratulates our Design Cadet, Sarah Bulyaki, who was nominated for a NAWIC QLD award, representing ADCO at the ceremony last night. Roselands Opens to Shoppers in Sydney

A $90 million redevelopment of Roselands in Sydney’s south-west is now open for customers and the local community to enjoy. Local MP Joins ADCO for Topping Out at Regional Hospital Build

Last Friday, Bowral and District Hospital celebrated topping out of the health facility’s new building. To mark the ceremony, local Member for Wollondilly, Nathaniel Smith MP, announced that the building’s structure had come to completion. This was celebrated with the unveiling of a topping out tree which was brought in by our crane, ‘Rakhi’, named in a competition won by a young member of the Bowral community. ADCO Delivers Stunning Perth Office Fitout

ADCO was engaged by Brunel to provide design and construct services for a single-floor fit out at Wesfarmers House in Perth CBD. Working with architects MKDC and PGD Consulting Services ADCO delivered a modern, open plan office area with staff kitchen, break-out area, various meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and a reception area with stunning views to the iconic Elizabeth Quay. Bunbury Prison Expansion Reaches Practical Completion

Congratulations to our team at Bunbury Regional Prison, who have achieved Practical Completion. The complex project for WA Department of Justice was completed over 12 separable portions and two separate projects. The fast-track build was carried out inside a live prison, and our work methodologies and daily activities required a level of detail and accuracy above normal correctional protocols. A new, 160-bed extension across two wings has increased accommodation by 50% and an upgrade to the Prison’s C Block has improved dining and kitchen facilities, established a new education building, and improved services and security installations. ADCO to Build Large Gold Coast Sport Precinct

ADCO is thrilled to have been awarded the contract to build Pimpama Sports Hub. Work on the Gold Coast’s $70 million facility will begin in October, built in two separable portions which will be divided by a natural watercourse. The hub will include an aquatic centre with five pools, café, a health and fitness centre, community centre, meeting and function rooms, multipurpose hall, eight tennis courts, a 12-court netball facility, community parks, carparking and a new signalised intersection on Rifle Range Road. Tom Hill Cycles Across Europe for Marine Conservation

ADCO board member and avid cyclist Tom Hill is taking on the London to Monaco ride to raise money for Blue Marine Foundation — dedicated to ocean conservation, creating marine reserves and sustainable fishing. ADCO is backing Tom on his four-country quest, which began last Wednesday with a celebrity send off in London and will end on Thursday with a champagne finish at the Prince’s Palace in Monaco, where Tom will represent Rivergate Marina at the Monaco Yacht Show.
